The Prayer Watch
Weekly, structured prayer for enduring themes
Aligned with America 250’s America Prays initiative.
As America approaches 250 years of freedom, we join the national call reflected in the America Prays initiative — not as spectators, but as participants.
The Prayer Watch is a weekly call to stand watch in prayer for our nation. Rooted in Scripture and united in purpose, we gather around enduring themes — leadership, families, justice, mercy, and renewal.
The Invitation
Join us each week online — from your home or wherever you are — for one focused hour of united prayer. Together, we will lift the nation before God with clarity and conviction.
The Prayer Watch gathers weekly at a scheduled time announced in advance.
The Hour We Have Been Given
This anniversary is more than celebration. It is a moment to rededicate ourselves to the principles that gave birth to this land of liberty.
As President George Washington warned in his Farewell Address:
“Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness, these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens.”
The strength of a nation rests not only in its institutions, but in the character of its people. This hour of prayer is an act of stewardship — for our generation and for those to come.
